Congratulations to Lynley Schroering, Kentucky's National Distinguished Principal for 2016. Lynley is the principal of Luhr Elementary in Jefferson County.

The mission of the KAESP, the collective voice of Kentucky's elementary and middle level principals, in partnership with other education leaders, is to develop citizens that can succeed in a global society, by delivering to our members a network for support, professional development, visionary leadership, and by pro-active involvement in shaping education policy.

KAESP members Bill Jones, Rosie Young, and David Poer meet with Kentucky Representative Andy Barr. This was part of the NAESP National Leaders Conference and the annual trip to Capitol Hill to advocate for principals and educational funding. We appreciate our Representatives meeting with us!
